ABOUT KONG-OFF

Inspired by the King of Kong documentary and brought to life by arcade owner and punk rockstar, Richie Knucklez, this competition invites the top Donkey Kong players  to face off with other top gamers. Winners are chosen via single-elimination, head-to-head competition from the top 16 scorers from a two day open play event, that will determine who plays who for the ultimate championship on day three.

Pinball doesn’t need to be SAVED – it needs to be SAVORED! Founded by John Weeks and located a little over an hour from Los Angeles  the Museum of Pinball is a non-profit organization with a campus that includes 40,000 square feet featuring over 1,000 games.

Some people just can’t get enough of gaming, and that’s why we’re setting aside space in our 5-acre park for you to CAMP! That’s right…you can stay up to two nights (Friday and Saturday) on the Museum of Pinball property so that you’ll only be steps away from three days of gaming.

$30 per night includes:

  • Designated camping spot with space for a family-sized tent.
  • Use of electricity, but please bring your own extension cord.
  • Access to high-quality portable bathroom and shower.
  • Parking space near the camping area.

Please be aware:

  • No fires or smoking due to fire hazard.
  • We are not responsibility for the loss or damage of your property.
  • All campers are expected to be quiet after 12 midnight.

Day 3 Kong Off 6

  • Single Elimination Head-to-Head Battles

    Starting at 10am and ending with the last man standing. The top 8 scores will determine who plays who. Players will go head-to-head on one credit with no restarts. The first round will consist of simultaneous battles (1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, etc). Winners advance by single elimination. The second round will be 2 simultaneous battles and then the final match. The winner will take home the belt.
